My April ArtFest Bead Journal Page is done!

And just in the nick of time, seeing as it's the last day of April - oh how I hope Spring really is on the way.

This page was a total departure from the norm for me and was a lot of fun - once I got over the 'it all has to be color-balanced' I had a lot of fun. As I wrote last time, there are many things on this page that were collected during ArtFest, so if they don't make sense to you - well that would be because they really aren't connected in any other way.

Now I'm off to think of what to do for May.

I LOVE this page. All the little do-dads to look at make it so interesting. It has the feel of a page done just for fun. It is Fun!
Hooray for you. You let yourself go, and the result is terrific!

Hi, Diane. This page may be a departure for you, but it is wonderful!! Maybe a new style to explore and enjoy.

This is wonderful! It's a feast (from the Fest) for the eyes! :)

As was said, this looks fun. From the description of Artfest, you had fun there so it makes sense that your April piece reflects that feeling. (Artfest is now on the list of places I want to go!)

I called my MIL to come look at this and she's in love too, btw - hehe

If this isn't THE perfect manifestation of the ArtFest experience, I don't know what is! Have you sent the picture to Teesha? Awesome!!!!

Honestly, your encrusted work gives me goosebumps every time I see it.... and always makes me want to return to completely improv. work...

Thank you!!!! Robin A.

PS... Save May 21st, evening. I'm doing the BJP slide show in Seattle. Please come! Please bring your BJP pieces to show n tell!!! I'll write you the details later. R
