August Bead Journal Page - day 2

I'm feeling better about it today - I still have such a long way to go in learning how to get those beads to butt up perfectly against one another - but I am happier with the movement of the piece now.

Orange happens to be one of my favourite colours. Your piece so far looks full of sun and happiness.

Your Frieda piece was awesome.

Take care

It is glorious and a celebration of summer! I think of sun, warmth, and fancy drinks with colourful umbrellas! I love it and hope you will too!

OOOOOOO... YUM!!!! What's not to love about this one?! Of course this is from the viewpoint of someone who's been on an orange kick for a couple of months. Glorioius new orange beads!

I think you just didn't realize that you do like orange - you use it beautifully. I can't wait to see how your heart progresses.

Looks like you've got a great start to me! Of course, you're using my favorite color palette so I might be prejudiced!

I love the colors! Sometimes I've found it's good to work with colors that are not my favorites to sort of stretch myself. Can't wait to see how it will come out.

There's something very freeing about using colors, techniques, styles, etc. that you're not comfortable with...I'm beginning to just love it!

Diane you are off to a great start with this one & I love the colours you have chosen - I have to smile as I will be using similar colours on my very late July page
