done and done - well except for the finishing bits - i think that i'm going to wait to do that till the very end when i bind the whole shooting match together as a big, fat, heart shaped book
this scan is not so great but i didn't want to dig out the soft box to do a 'real' photo.

I'm so drawn into this heart... it's both beautiful and compelling! Bravo!
Note to other readers ~ Be sure to click on the picture so you can see all the fabulous details! I love the half-moon buttons and stars and the loopy fringe with pink lampwork rings!
Oh this is so beautiful, it is heart warming. No pun intended.

I really like the heart shape. (I think that at least one of my future pages will be heart shaped, too.) It's interesting that you started out thinking of brides, but it ended up very different from "wedding whites". I love all the different shapes and textures you used.
oh wow this is breathtaking! SUch a beautiful combination!
This heart is fabulous! My first reaction was WOW! Very beautiful. I looked up close and was amazed. You do such beautiful work. I like how you built upon already beaded or sequined areas. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see what's next!
Wow, how pleasing to the eye, very beautiful!!
Beautiful piece! And your photo is crystal clear so we can see every bead...love that! What a wonderful assortment of beads you have!
Your photo needs no improvement. Your heart is beautiful. My daughter would love the colors you chose; I,like you, would get bored quickly with ecru and white. I can see the pinks saved you and you did an excellent job with those colors. I can't wait to see your vacation colors piece!
After seeing all the pieces people are doing improvisationally, I can see I am really going to have to give it a try somewhere along the line. It's scarier to me than coming up with a set idea. I guess this "free" bird has got to learn how to be more free! You did such a great job; it's an inspiration.
Your June Journal is fantastic. I love the colours and all the different beads you have incorporated.
This is gorgeous! I'm amazed at how full of beads your piece is. And they all lay so nicely together, it's a luscious surface! I especially like the upper right corner with the flower, leaf and start beads.
I love your heart and all the colors and details Diane :o) Thanks for sharing,

P.S. Are you close to here?
Beautiful piece and great idea...didn't even occur to me to do anything other than some sort of geometric shape...I love how much I'm learning during this project.
Wow. Beautiful. I've got to stop looking at other people's work or I'll be so intimidated I won't do any more of my own!
Just beautiful! I love the colors too.
Absolutely fabulous! I love the colors, your half moon buttons, all your luscious leaves and the way those beads at the top are sewn down all topsy turvy! Wonderful!

This is so soft and very romantic! Love the beading you have done and the colors you picked!
This is fabulous! I love all the subtle shimmer of color and the texture. And, of course, the heart shape is great!
Great piece - I'm looking forward to seeing your hearts in the coming months.
*sigh* What a beauty, the detailed shot is wonderful - I LOVE those half moon buttons and so many of the other little treasures used in this... such a happy piece.
