bead journal project - day 5

done and done - well except for the finishing bits - i think that i'm going to wait to do that till the very end when i bind the whole shooting match together as a big, fat, heart shaped book
this scan is not so great but i didn't want to dig out the soft box to do a 'real' photo.

I really like the heart shape. (I think that at least one of my future pages will be heart shaped, too.) It's interesting that you started out thinking of brides, but it ended up very different from "wedding whites". I love all the different shapes and textures you used.

This heart is fabulous! My first reaction was WOW! Very beautiful. I looked up close and was amazed. You do such beautiful work. I like how you built upon already beaded or sequined areas. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see what's next!

Beautiful piece! And your photo is crystal clear so we can see every bead...love that! What a wonderful assortment of beads you have!

Your photo needs no improvement. Your heart is beautiful. My daughter would love the colors you chose; I,like you, would get bored quickly with ecru and white. I can see the pinks saved you and you did an excellent job with those colors. I can't wait to see your vacation colors piece!
After seeing all the pieces people are doing improvisationally, I can see I am really going to have to give it a try somewhere along the line. It's scarier to me than coming up with a set idea. I guess this "free" bird has got to learn how to be more free! You did such a great job; it's an inspiration.

This is gorgeous! I'm amazed at how full of beads your piece is. And they all lay so nicely together, it's a luscious surface! I especially like the upper right corner with the flower, leaf and start beads.

Beautiful piece and great idea...didn't even occur to me to do anything other than some sort of geometric shape...I love how much I'm learning during this project.

Wow. Beautiful. I've got to stop looking at other people's work or I'll be so intimidated I won't do any more of my own!
