Earth tones are not my forte. In fact, I don't even own a pair of brown shoes much less anything else in those tones but October was a month of challenges and so I challenged myself with earth tones. I'm very glad it's finished. I grew tired of it long before it was finished. But as a person who often doesn't finished things she's not pleased with, I am proud of myself for completing it.

Well since you dont care for earth tones, and they just so happen to be my favorite (especially browns) I will be happy to force myself to take it off your hands!! haha, I know, tough luck! Anyway, this is beautiful beyond belief! i love the movement and flow to this piece. You should be very proud of yourself for sticking to it, even though you dont like the colors! Nice work. Love it!
It's sure a beautiful piece!
As a person who loves these colors, may I say you did a wonderful job on this piece!
I admire your tenacity in finishing something you didn't like all that much, too . . .

oooo Diane, this turned out lovely! Not a big fan of earth tones myself, but this is very striking. Love those big leaf beads towards the center... what are they?
What's not to like? It's gorgeous!

I love it!! One of my favorite things is working in earthtones. Pastels are my least favorite. You did a wonderful job on this.

Great finish! If I had a dime...for all the incomplete, I fell out of love with it, projects around here. Love the piece and congrats on pushing through.

Hi Diane...I am just catching up with other BJP members today!
I just love your September piece...it is beautiful! I adore earth tones and you did a lovely job with these colors on your page! You should be proud of yourself for persisting and seeing it through.
I like the shape/size you chose and how you are displaying them. I wonder if you won't be happy with this page when your pieces are hung all together!
I look forward to seeing your monthly pages!
Have a nice weekend...~Lisa ;-)
P.S. Since this is October, I'm heading backward to catch-up!
Ok, Wow, both of your pieces are amazing to me. Beautiful choices for beads and at the end of 12 months what a fantastic display you will have!
Hi, Diane. I am so glad you persevered through your dislike of browns because your piece is stunning. I'm just like you, not a brown thing in my house, so I can appreciate how hard you pushed yourself.
thank goodness for the tenacity of your spirit as this piece has worked out wonderfully. I love the hand that is just grabbing up the beads, so symbolic of what you did.
For someone who doesn't like earth tones - this is GREAT! I really like this one!
I love earth tones. And your design is beautiful! I love it.

WOW! But that's always what I say whenever I see your work! It's just beautiful, as well as September's! You really inspire us to be better beaders! Thank you! Gorgeous colors, textures, compostition....ahhhhhhh!
Warmest aloha,

I'm not an earth tone person either but you did a great job on this piece. It has a lot of depth; it's not just plain ol' brown! And finishing it is an accomplishment too. So, are you going to challenge yourself so much in November?
It's beautiful, Enchy! I can't wait to see them all together! Hope you are doing well.
I am not a brown-fan myself, it is my least loved colour. But in this case, I am forgetting everything about it, because I like your October page so much. How fortunate that you carried it through. Good girl!

P.S.: On my latest blog-page I gave you credit for the help you gave me repeatedly. I hope you will read it at sabineemma.blogspot.com.
I like brown beads, but I don't wear too much brown. Gorgeous piece; I'm so glad you were able to finish it. P.S. tag, you're it: http://beadcircleblog.com/?p=161
